Shaping the future: RAeS launches market research to support strategic direction

Following the Relevance Initiative review, the RAeS will conduct market research to assess its evolving role and value. Insights will guide strategic decisions, ensuring the Society continues to meet the needs of members and the wider aerospace community.

Digital transformation: Enhancing member experience from 2025

The RAeS is undertaking a major digital transformation in 2025, upgrading its CRM and CMS platforms. This investment will enhance member experience, streamline operations and improve data analysis, enabling more effective engagement and service delivery.

Expanding digital reach: Advancing access to the National Aerospace Library

In 2025, the National Aerospace Library will enhance digital resources, introducing a unified e-library search tool and migrating its heritage website. New collections will include digitised letters from Orville, Wilbur, and Katharine Wright, as well as transcribed versions of the Cayley notebooks.

Deployment of Aeroversity training for End Point Assessment

In early 2025, Aeroversity training modules will be deployed for End Point Assessment. The RAeS will also apply to expand its recognised standards, including Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Level 3 ST1315) and the Risk & Safety Management Professional (Level 7 ST0456) qualifications.

RAeS strengthens engagement with Government, Regulators and ICAO in 2025

In 2025, RAeS will focus on UK policy priorities such as the Strategic Defence Review, contrail management and space sustainability. It will also participate in the ICAO General Assembly, advocating for the skills agenda through the Global Aviation and Aerospace Skills Taskforce.
